All ACT residents can book one free bulky waste collection per calendar year.

You can also drop off household recycling for free at recycling drop-off centres. Glass bottles and jars, aluminium and steel cans, paper and flat cardboard are accepted at the following locations:
Eligible empty drink containers receive a 10-cent refund per item through the ACT Container Deposit Scheme.
If you need to pay a fee in relation to a waste or recycling service, use the NoWaste Payments form. All fees are available on the City Services website.
